Henry Sinclair became the 7th Lord Sinclair in 1601. He took over the title from his grandfather, Henry Sinclair, 6th Lord Sinclair. Henry Sinclair passed away in 1602. After his death, his brother, James Sinclair, 8th Lord Sinclair, became the next Lord Sinclair.
