Princess Hermine de Clermont-Tonnerre (born February 3, 1966 – died July 3, 2020) was a French princess. She was known for being a stylist, a writer about good manners, and an actress. Her family, the House of Clermont-Tonnerre, is a very old and important noble family in France.

About Princess Hermine
Hermine was the daughter of Charles Henri, who was the 11th Duke and 9th Prince of Clermont-Tonnerre. Her mother was Anne Moranvillé. She was also the sister of the person who is currently the Duke of Clermont-Tonnerre. Her family is part of the French nobility. This means they are from a group of families with special titles and history in France. In 1823, they were also recognized by the Pope, which is called "papal nobility."
Her Career and Life
When Hermine was 22, she became a stylist for Dior, a famous fashion company. After that, she started her own company that planned special events.
In 1996, she published her first book. It was called Politesse oblige : le savoir-vivre aujourd'hui. This book was about good manners and how to behave in society. She wrote many other books about her own life in the 2000s.
Hermine also enjoyed car rallies. She took part in the 6th Rallye des Princesses. This is a special car event for women who drive old, classic cars. The race goes from Paris to Monaco every year. In 2009, she teamed up with Valérie Bénaïm for the rally.
In 1999, Hermine de Clermont-Tonnerre married Alastair Cuddeford. They had two children together, named Allegra and Calixte. They separated in July 2009.
TV Appearances
Princess Hermine was also on television. She was a contestant on two reality TV shows. These were La Ferme Célébrités in 2010 and Fear Factor in 2004. She was also a judge for the Miss France beauty pageant in 2003. She was often invited to appear on other TV shows, like C'est mon choix.
Her Passing
On June 2, 2020, Hermine de Clermont-Tonnerre was in a serious motorcycle accident. She was put into a coma right away. She sadly passed away from her injuries on July 3, 2020. She was 54 years old when she died at Bicêtre Hospital.
