HERO - Bhakti hi Shakti Hai (which means Devotion is Strength in English) is an exciting Indian superhero TV show. It first aired on Hungama TV in 2005. The series follows the amazing adventures of a superhero named Hero. He gets incredible magical powers from Goddess Durga. These powers help him fight bad guys and supervillains.

Hero also has two special helpers. His favorite toys, Dholu and Bablie, turn into his sidekicks when he becomes Hero! The show was created by Arif Ali from UTV. Waseem Sabir and Imtiaz Alam directed the series.

The Story of Hero

The show is all about a boy named Joy (played by Sumeet Pathak). Most of his friends and even his brother don't really like him. They think he is too innocent and childish. Only his mother and two best friends, Meenu and Chhota Papi, truly understand him.

One day, some criminals attack Joy and his family. Joy bravely tries to protect them. But things go wrong, and his mother gets hurt. Instead of being praised for his courage, his brother becomes even more upset with him.

Feeling sad about everything, Joy goes to a temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. He asks her for help. He wants to become smart and clever, just like his brother. Goddess Durga is very impressed by Joy's pure heart and strong will.

So, she gives Joy a magical ring. This ring lets him change into a powerful superhero named "HERO"! Goddess Durga also brings his beloved toys, Dholu (Nirmal Soni) and Babli (Rupali Suri), to life. But they only come alive when Joy is in his Hero form. This is how Joy's new journey begins. He starts saving the Earth from strong supervillains and evil creatures.
