Heston's Feasts is a cool TV cooking show. It stars the famous chef Heston Blumenthal. The show was made by Optomen for Channel 4. In the show, Heston plans and cooks amazing and unique meals. He makes these feasts to entertain special celebrity guests. The first series started on 3 March 2009. A second series with seven episodes began in April 2010.

About Heston's Feasts

In each episode, Heston Blumenthal invites six famous guests. They enjoy a four-course meal. The dining room, the food, and how it's served all follow a theme. This theme is usually based on a period of history.

How Heston Creates Feasts

Heston starts by doing a lot of research. He looks into the history, science, and old stories about dishes from the past. He often tries out unusual ingredients. He also tests out old or new cooking methods. His goal is to recreate historical dishes in his own special way. Sometimes, an idea might not work out. He might decide not to serve a dish if it's too hard to make or doesn't taste good.

The Dining Experience

When the food is ready, Heston presents each course. He adds a lot of drama and fun to the presentation. This is to entertain his guests and sometimes even surprise them! The guests change for every episode. They have included funny comedians, important British families, and journalists.
