Inventing the Sports Bra
Hinda Miller played a big part in creating the first sports bra. In 1977, she worked with Lisa Lindahl and Polly Smith. They noticed that regular bras weren't comfortable for exercising.
They used two jockstraps sewn together to make a prototype. This first exercise bra was called a "jockbra." It was later renamed the "jogbra." This invention changed how women could exercise comfortably.
