Hitoshi Shiota (塩田 仁史, born May 28, 1981) is a Japanese football player. He is a talented goalkeeper who currently plays for Tochigi SC. Shiota is known for his skills in protecting the goal.

Playing Career

Hitoshi Shiota started his football journey in high school. He played for Mito Junior College High School from 1997 to 1999. After that, he went to Ryutsu Keizai University. He continued to play football there from 2000 to 2003.

FC Tokyo Years

Shiota joined FC Tokyo in 2004. This was his first professional club. He played for FC Tokyo for a long time, from 2004 to 2014. During his time there, he played in 85 league matches. He was a key part of the team.

With FC Tokyo, Shiota helped his team win some important trophies. They won the J.League Cup twice, in 2004 and 2009. They also won the Emperor's Cup in 2011. These were big achievements for the club.

Moving to Omiya Ardija

In 2015, Shiota moved to Omiya Ardija. He played for this club until 2019. During his time at Omiya Ardija, he played in 45 league games. He continued to show his skills as a reliable goalkeeper.

Current Club: Tochigi SC

Since 2020, Hitoshi Shiota has been playing for Tochigi SC. He continues his professional career there. He brings his many years of experience to his new team.
