Hoback is a small community in Teton County, Wyoming, in the United States. It is known as a "census-designated place" (CDP). This means it's an area that looks like a town but does not have its own local government.
In 2010, about 1,176 people lived in Hoback. It is part of the larger Jackson area. The community gets its name from John Hoback. He was a mountain man who helped explorers in 1811.
