Holiday Beach is a small community in Texas, United States. It's known as an unincorporated community and a census-designated place. This means it's a recognized place but doesn't have its own local government like a city. It's located in Aransas County, right on the eastern shore of Copano Bay. In 2010, about 514 people lived there.

Where is Holiday Beach?
Holiday Beach is in Texas, a state in the United States. It sits on the eastern side of a large body of water called Copano Bay. You can find it along Texas State Highway 35, about 11 miles northeast of a town called Rockport.
The community covers a total area of about 1.9 square miles (4.9 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 1.6 square miles (4.1 square kilometers), is land, and the rest, about 0.3 square miles (0.8 square kilometers), is water.
The Story of Holiday Beach
Development of Holiday Beach began in the mid-1960s. A group of investors from Dallas started the Copano Land Company. The first pieces of land were sold around 1964. The community continued to grow with many waterfront homes and boat canals being built through the end of the 1900s. By the year 2000, about 1,000 people were estimated to live in Holiday Beach.
In August 2017, a very powerful storm called Hurricane Harvey caused a lot of damage to the area when it came ashore in Holiday Beach.
