Holiday Valley is a small community in Ohio, United States. It is called a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area that the government counts for the census, but it is not officially a city or town with its own local government.
Holiday Valley is located in Clark County, within Mad River Township. In 2020, about 1,480 people lived there. It is part of the larger Springfield, Ohio area. Holiday Valley was first recognized as a CDP in 1990.
Where is Holiday Valley?
Holiday Valley is in the southwestern part of Clark County. It is also in the southwest part of Mad River Township.
To its northeast, you'll find Green Meadows and a small part of the village of Enon. To the south, it borders Bath Township in Greene County.
The Dayton Springfield Road runs along the northwestern side of Holiday Valley. This road can take you about 15 miles (24 km) southwest to downtown Dayton. Or, you can go about 10 miles (16 km) northeast to the center of Springfield.
The total area of Holiday Valley is about 1.8 square miles (4.7 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
