Holyoke is a town in Colorado, United States. It's the main town and the biggest one in Phillips County, Colorado. In 2020, about 2,346 people lived there.

Holyoke's History and Beginnings
Holyoke became the main town of Phillips County in 1887. It was named by a railroad boss, who named it after his son-in-law, Edward A. Holyoke. The town was built on a grid pattern near Frenchman Creek.
Even today, Holyoke is known for its tall grain elevators. These are like the "skyscrapers" of the town. The main street is called Interocean Avenue (U.S. 385). You can find the historic Burge Hotel there, built in 1912. It has a big stone fireplace. This hotel used to welcome traveling salespeople, who brought news and excitement to small towns.

Holyoke is located in northeastern Colorado. Its exact location is 40°34′55″N 102°18′4″W / 40.58194°N 102.30111°W.
In 2020, the town covered about 6.4 square kilometers (2.5 square miles). A very small part of this area is water.
