Hooker Corner is what we call a ghost town in Indiana. It's located in Warren County, specifically in Pine Township. You can find it west of a town called Pine Village.
Even though it's mostly gone, a few buildings still stand there today. The USGS still lists it on their maps.
What is a Ghost Town?
A ghost town is a place where most or all people have left. These towns often become empty because a local industry, like a mine or a factory, closed down. Sometimes, people move away because of natural disasters or changes in transportation routes. Hooker Corner is an example of such a place.
Where is Hooker Corner?
Hooker Corner is found where Rainsville Road meets State Road 26. It's about three and a half miles (which is around 5.6 kilometers) west of Pine Village.
