Hope Town is a special place in the Bahamas. It is one of the districts that make up this island nation. You can find Hope Town on the Abaco Islands. It's also a small village located on Elbow Cay.
One of the coolest things about the main part of Hope Town is that you won't see any cars or golf carts! People get around mostly by bicycle or by walking. It makes the village feel very peaceful.
Hope Town is also home to a very old and unique lighthouse. This lighthouse is special because it's one of the last in the world that still uses kerosene fuel to shine its light. It was built in 1862 and started helping ships find their way just two years later.
