Hot Dollar, whose real name is Leon Gray, is an American rapper. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He later moved to Compton, California, to build his music career.
Hot Dollar is best known for his 2007 hit single, "Two Steppin' (Streets on Lock)". This song became popular because it used a sample from "All Eyes On Me," a famous track by the legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. A sample is a small piece of one song used in another. A special version of the song, called a remix, was also released. It featured well-known rappers Rick Ross and Gucci Mane.
In October 2011, Hot Dollar released another single called "Where Is The Love At?".
