Huajayhuillca is a tall mountain in the Andes mountains of Peru. It is part of the Urubamba mountain range. This mountain stands at a height of 5,361 meters (about 17,589 feet) above sea level.
The name Huajayhuillca might come from the Quechua words waqay (meaning "to cry") and willka (which is a type of tree called Anadenanthera colubrina).
Where is Huajayhuillca Located?
Huajayhuillca is found in the Cusco Region of Peru. It is located in two different provinces:
- La Convención Province, specifically in the Huayopata District.
- Urubamba Province, in the Ollantaytambo District.
This mountain is situated southwest of another mountain called Marconi.
