About the Show
What's it About?
This TV show was about two best friends, Annie and Jaime. They were both moms who had been unpopular in high school. They wanted their own teenage daughters to be popular and have a great time growing up. However, their daughters, Sophie and Mackenzie, turned out to be very spoiled and sometimes mean. This made Annie and Jaime often say, "I hate my teenage daughter!" even though they loved them very much. The show explored the funny challenges of being a parent to teenagers.
Who Was in the Cast?
The main actors who played the moms were Jaime Pressly as Annie Watson and Katie Finneran as Jaime Ryan. Their teenage daughters were played by Aisha Dee as Mackenzie Ryan and Kristi Lauren as Sophie Watson. Other actors in the show included Kevin Rahm, Chad L. Coleman, and Eric Sheffer Stevens.
