Iain Andrew Cook (born November 2, 1974) is a Scottish musician, composer, and record producer. He is a member of the pop band Chvrches, based in Glasgow. Before Chvrches, Iain played guitar for the Scottish band Aereogramme until they stopped playing together in 2007. He also writes music for movies and TV shows, and is part of the rock band The Unwinding Hours.

Early Music Career
Before he helped form Aereogramme, Iain Cook was in a band called Les Tinglies. He used the stage name Johnny Dymes back then.
In 1998, Iain started the band Aereogramme with Craig B., Campbell McNeil, and Martin Scott. Their first album, A Story in White, came out in 2001. They released two more albums, Sleep and Release in 2003 and Seclusion in 2004. Their last album, My Heart Has a Wish That You Would Not Go, was released in 2007, and the band broke up that same year.
Other Projects
Iain Cook also writes music for different projects. He created the main song for One Life Left, a radio show about video games that started in 2006.
In October 2022, Iain started a new music project called Protection. He works on this project with Scott Paterson, who was the guitarist for the band Sons and Daughters.
