Sheikh Ibrahim Sarsur (Arabic: إبراهيم صرصور, Hebrew: אבראהים צרצור; born 2 February 1959) is an Israeli Arab politician. He used to lead the United Arab List party. He was a member of the Knesset, which is like Israel's parliament, from 2006 to 2015.

About Ibrahim Sarsur
Ibrahim Sarsur was born in Kafr Qasim, a city in Israel, on February 2, 1959. He studied English literature and language at Bar-Ilan University in the 1970s.
Early Political Life
In 1989, Sarsur became a member of the Kafr Qasim city council. He served on the council for many years. In 1999, he became a leader in the southern part of the Islamic Movement in Israel. This group is known for being more moderate. He also helped lead the High Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel. This committee works for the rights of Arab citizens in Israel.

Ibrahim Sarsur was first elected to the Knesset in the 2006 elections. The Knesset is where laws are made in Israel. He represented the United Arab List party.
Re-elections and Key Actions
He was re-elected to the Knesset in 2009 and again in 2013. In 2013, he signed a petition with many other Knesset members. This petition asked for the release of Jonathan Pollard, an American who was in prison. Sarsur said he felt a connection to Pollard's situation.
Leaving Politics
Ibrahim Sarsur decided to retire from politics before the 2015 elections. He was given a special symbolic spot on the Joint List, which was a group of Arab parties. After he retired, Masud Ghnaim became the new leader of his party.
