Icard is found in the eastern part of Burke County. It shares a border with the town of Hildebran to its east.

Getting Around Icard

U.S. Route 70 is the main road that goes through Icard. This road can take you about 8 miles east to Hickory. If you head west for about 13 miles, you'll reach Morganton.

Interstate 40 runs close to US-70. You can get to Icard from Exit 116 on Interstate 40.
