Icelandic Glacial is a brand of bottled water that comes from the Ölfus Spring in Iceland. This special spring water is bottled right next to its source. The bottling factory uses geothermal energy, which is clean energy from the Earth's heat. This makes the process very eco-friendly.
The company was started in 2004 by an Icelandic business person named Jón Ólafsson. They began selling their water to other countries in 2005. A few years later, in 2007, a large company called Anheuser-Busch InBev bought a part of Icelandic Glacial. This partnership helped Icelandic Glacial become the main bottled water distributed in the United States.
