Playing for Kedah Darul Aman
Ifwat started his football journey with the Kedah Darul Aman U21 team. This team competes in a youth tournament called the President Cup.
His amazing performances in the 2017 Malaysia Super League helped him win the 'Best Goalkeeper Award' in 2017. This was a big achievement early in his career.
On January 21, 2020, Ifwat played in an important match for the 2020 AFC Champions League qualifying play-offs. His team, Kedah Darul Aman, won that game 5–1 against a team from Hong Kong called Tai Po.
Playing for His Country: Malaysia
On August 6, 2016, Ifwat made his first appearance for the Malaysia national team. He was only 19 years old at the time. This debut was in a friendly match against their rivals, Indonesia, where he played for the entire game.
In June 2019, Ifwat was chosen to play in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification match. He played the whole game against Timor-Leste in the second part of the first round, and Malaysia won 5–1.
