Igor Decraene (born 26 January 1996, died 30 August 2014) was a talented Belgian cyclist. He was known for his skills in time trial races.
In 2013, Igor became the UCI world junior men's time trial champion. This big win happened on 24 September in Florence, Italy. He also won the Belgian national time trial championship for junior men in both 2013 and 2014. For his great achievements, he received the Crystal Bicycle award for Best Young Rider in 2013.
At the time of his death, Igor was getting ready to defend his world junior time trial title. The race was planned for 23 September at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships in Ponferrada, Spain. Sadly, Igor passed away in an accident on 30 August 2014 near Zulte, Belgium. He was 18 years old.
