Zulte is a small town in Belgium. It is located in a part of Belgium called Flanders, which is in the East Flanders province. Zulte is known as a municipality, which is like a local government area.
The municipality of Zulte includes three main towns: Machelen, Olsene, and Zulte itself. In 2021, about 15,843 people lived in Zulte. The total size of the area is about 32.52 square kilometers.
What is Zulte Known For?
Zulte used to have its own special beer, simply called "Zulte." This beer was made since 1891. Today, the brewery that made Zulte beer is part of a bigger company called Alken-Maes breweries.

Zulte is also known for its football team. The main football club from Zulte joined with another team, KSV Waregem. They formed a new team called SV Zulte Waregem. This team used to play in the top Belgian football league, the Belgian Pro League. Now, they play in the Challenger Pro League.
