In a Biskit is a popular line of tasty snack crackers made by Nabisco. These crackers first came out in the United States in 1964. Back then, they were called Chicken in a Biskit. Over the years, they became famous around the world. Today, you can find them in many different flavors!

In the United States, the original Chicken in a Biskit crackers had a flavor that tasted like cooked chicken. There was also a Swiss in a Biskit flavor. These crackers were part of a group called Flavor Originals. Other crackers in this group included Better Cheddars, Sociables, and Vegetable Thins. For a while, Chicken in a Biskit was available in both original and barbecue flavors.
In a Biskit in Australia
In Australia, Nabisco made many unique In a Biskit flavors. These included Vegemite, bacon, and nacho flavors. They also had more common flavors like barbecue, crispy potato, and salt and vinegar.
Packaging and Production
In a Biskit crackers in Australia came in a box that weighed about 175 to 200 grams. You could also buy them in a "Multi-pack." This pack had 10 small bags, each with 25 grams of crackers. Multi-packs were first introduced for the In a Biskit line in August 1999.
These crackers were made at a factory in Broadmeadows, Victoria until 2006. After that, the production moved to China.
Return to Shelves
The production of In a Biskit crackers in Australia stopped in March 2015. But good news for fans! In a Biskit returned to Australian stores in August 2021. They brought back the popular Chicken and Drumstix flavors.
In August 2022, the company Mondelez International announced even more new flavors. These new flavors were inspired by popular home delivery foods in Australia. They included Smoky Meatlovers, Cheese Burger, and Loaded Cheese.
