About Ina Mihalache
Ina Mihalache was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her father, Dumitru Mihalache, was from Romania. Her mother, Doris Duguay, was French Canadian. When Ina was ten, she decided to change her accent. She wanted to sound like people from France, not Quebec. She heard this accent on the radio and French TV channels like TV5Monde. Ina said this was an "aesthetic choice," meaning she liked how it sounded. This decision caused some discussion in her home province of Quebec.
In 2004, Ina moved to Paris, France. She joined a famous acting school called Cours Florent. She later got into a special program there called Classe Libre. Ina was very dedicated to her acting studies.
Ina gets ideas for her art from many different artists. Some of her main inspirations include actresses like Anna Karina and Emmanuelle Riva. She also looks up to directors like Lars von Trier and artists like Sophie Calle.
Her YouTube Channel: Solange Te Parle
In November 2011, Ina Mihalache started her blog, Solange te parle. It was a collection of short videos with different themes. The character Solange gives funny and sometimes silly advice. She tries to help with everyday problems, often from the point of view of a young woman who is a bit awkward in social situations. Ina once said about her character, "Solange is inadequate. She does not know how to do things, but she tries."
Her videos often have a unique way of thinking. They are a bit like the funny and thoughtful works of French comedians Pierre Desproges and Jean-Louis Fournier.
