Indian Lake is a beautiful lake located in Cass County, which is in southwestern Michigan in the United States. It's about 5 miles (8 km) west of the town of Dowagiac.
This lake is special because it's a spring-fed lake. This means its water comes from underground springs, keeping it fresh and clear. The lake was named "Indian Lake" because Native American people once lived in this area a long time ago.

There are several fun things to do around Indian Lake.
Golfing
On the west side of the lake, you'll find the Indian Lake Hills Golf Course. It's a large golf course with three different sections, each having nine holes. This gives golfers plenty of space to play and enjoy the outdoors.
Boating
On the east side of Indian Lake, there's the Indian Yacht Club. This club has a well-kept boat ramp, which is a place where boats can be launched into the water. If you want to use this ramp, you need to be a member of the club.
