Indian Lake is a beautiful lake located in Cass County, which is in southwestern Michigan in the United States. It's about 5 miles (8 km) west of the town of Dowagiac.

This lake is special because it's a spring-fed lake. This means its water comes from underground springs, keeping it fresh and clear. The lake was named "Indian Lake" because Native American people once lived in this area a long time ago.

Life Around Indian Lake

Indian Lake is a popular spot for living and recreation. Many families live around the lake, with about 220 homes built along its shores.
