Inmaculada Rodríguez-Piñero Fernández, born on January 7, 1958, in Madrid, Spain, is a Spanish politician. She is a member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). She is married and has two children. Before becoming a politician, she studied economics. She earned a master's degree in economic theory from the University of Minnesota in the United States.

Her Work in Spanish Politics
In 2008, Inmaculada Rodríguez-Piñero was chosen to run for parliament in the Valencia area. She was elected to the Spanish national parliament. This is where laws are made for the whole country.
In April 2009, she was given an important job. She became the State Secretary for Infrastructure and Planning. This role meant she helped manage big projects like roads and railways. She worked for the Minister of Public Works under Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. Because of this new job, she left her seat in the parliament.
Working in the European Parliament
Since the European elections in 2014, Rodríguez-Piñero has been a Member of the European Parliament. This means she helps make laws and decisions for all the countries in the European Union.
