Starting in Corpus Christi

The southern end of I-37 is in Corpus Christi. This city is on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Here, I-37 connects with other important roads. These include U.S. Route 181 and Texas State Highway 35. It also meets U.S. Route 77 in Corpus Christi.

On the Way to San Antonio

As you travel north on I-37, you leave Corpus Christi. The highway goes through more rural areas. You will pass by smaller towns. One important connection is with U.S. Route 59. This junction is near a town called George West.

Arriving in San Antonio

I-37 ends in San Antonio. This is a very big city in Texas. In San Antonio, I-37 connects with many other major highways. These include Interstate 410, U.S. Route 281, Interstate 10, U.S. Route 87, and U.S. Route 90. Finally, I-37 connects with Interstate 35 and U.S. Route 281 in San Antonio. This is where the highway officially ends.
