Isaías "Iyo" S. Pimentel (born February 16, 1933 – died June 26, 2017) was a talented tennis player from Venezuela. He was known for representing his country in many international tennis events.

Early Life and Career Beginnings
Iyo Pimentel was born on February 16, 1933, on the island of Curaçao. At the time, Curaçao was part of the Netherlands. He showed great skill in tennis from a young age. He became the tennis champion of Curaçao three times.
Playing for Venezuela
Pimentel proudly represented Venezuela in the Davis Cup. This is a major international team competition in men's tennis. He played for Venezuela many times between 1957 and 1966. His team reached the American Zone final twice, in 1960 and 1963.
Grand Slam Tournaments
Iyo Pimentel also competed in the biggest tennis tournaments in the world, known as the Grand Slams.
French Championships
He played in the French Championships (now called the French Open) several times. He reached the third round in both 1958 and 1964.
Wimbledon Championships
