Isaac Saba Raffoul (born October 17, 1923 – died July 27, 2008) was a very successful businessman from Mexico. He came from a family with Syrian Jewish roots. His father moved from Aleppo, Syria, to Veracruz, Mexico, and started a small business selling rags. Isaac Saba Raffoul helped his family grow this business into something much bigger.

He was known as one of the richest people in the world. According to Forbes magazine, his wealth was about $2.1 billion. He was married to Rebecca for over 40 years, and they had three sons: Moises, Manuel, and Alberto.

Isaac Saba Raffoul's Business Ventures

Isaac Saba Raffoul was the president of a company called Grupo Xtra. He was also the chairman of Casa Saba. These companies were involved in different types of businesses.

A New Television Channel

Isaac Saba Raffoul once worked with General Electric Mexico to start a new television channel across Mexico. This idea caused some discussion. Other big TV companies, TV Azteca and Televisa, were concerned. They suggested that Isaac Saba Raffoul was trying to control medicine prices. However, a financial newspaper called El Financiero stated that there was no such control over prices.

Family Takes Over

After Isaac Saba Raffoul passed away in 2008, his two youngest sons, Alberto and Manuel, took over the ownership of the family company. They continued to manage the businesses their father had built.
