Isabelle McCalla (born June 15, 1993) is an American actress and singer. She is well-known for her roles in Broadway musicals. Isabelle played Alyssa Greene in The Prom. She also starred as Jasmine in Disney's Aladdin on Broadway.

Early Life and Education

Isabelle McCalla was born in Queens, a borough of New York City. She grew up in Suffern, New York. Isabelle has a younger brother named Colin. She went to Rockland Country Day School.

From a young age, Isabelle studied dance at Coupé Theater Studio. She started ballet classes in third grade to learn discipline. As she got older, she took more dance classes. Isabelle attended the University of Michigan and finished her studies in 2015.

Isabelle McCalla's Broadway Career

Isabelle McCalla made her first appearance on Broadway in January 2018. She played Jasmine in Disney's musical Aladdin. Before this, she had already played Jasmine in the show's first national tour across the country.

Starring in The Prom Musical

Later in 2018, McCalla created the role of Alyssa Greene in The Prom on Broadway. She had been part of the show's ensemble cast during its first performances in Atlanta in 2016. Isabelle and her co-star Caitlin Kinnunen performed a scene from The Prom at the 2018 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Disney Princess Concert Tour

Isabelle McCalla also traveled across the United States. She performed popular songs as part of the Disney Princess — The Concert tour. This tour featured many beloved songs from Disney movies.

Recent Broadway Roles

In September 2023, McCalla took over the role of Maizy in the musical Shucked. This show was performed on Broadway at the Nederlander Theater. In 2024, she starred alongside Grant Gustin in the Broadway musical adaptation of the novel, Water for Elephants.

In February 2025, it was announced that McCalla would play Elinor in the musical Regency Girls. This musical premiered on April 10, 2025.
