Some of his most famous works include the song "Always" and his albums Yours (released in 2018) and Remember to Remember Me (released in 2020).

Early Life and Training

Isak Danielson was born in 1997 and grew up in Hovås, a town near Gothenburg, Sweden. He has two older sisters. From 2008 to 2010, his family lived in London. During this time, Isak went to the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. There, he learned about acting and singing. Isak has said that this training helped him learn to sing in a classical way and use his diaphragm, which made his voice much stronger.

Music Journey

Starting with The X Factor (2012)

Isak Danielson first became known in 2012. He tried out for The X Factor Sweden, a popular TV singing competition. He did very well in the show and ended up finishing in third place. This was a big step for his music career.

First Songs and EPs (2013–2017)

After The X Factor, Isak started releasing his own music. In December 2013, he put his first song, "Long Live This Love," on YouTube. It was officially released in January 2014.

In 2015, he released his first collection of songs, called an EP (Extended Play), titled Volume One. Critics praised this EP, saying it showed off his amazing voice. They described it as a mix of soulful ballads and acoustic folk-pop songs.

He released his second EP, Volume Two, in October 2016. A song from this EP, "Remember," came out a month before.

A very important moment for Isak was in April 2017. His song "Ending" was used in a dance video by Maddie Ziegler, a famous dancer. Later that year, "Ending" was also featured on the American TV shows So You Think You Can Dance and Cloak & Dagger. These TV appearances helped his music reach many more people around the world.

First Albums: Yours and Remember to Remember Me (2018–2020)

In 2018, Isak released several new songs, including "Broken," "Always," "I'll Be Waiting," and "I'm Falling in Love." These songs were part of his first full-length album, called Yours, which came out on October 19, 2018. The album was popular in Sweden, reaching number 27 on the music charts.

In 2019, Isak released another EP called Run to You. It included the songs "Power" and "Bleed Out." Later that year, he signed with Universal Music Group, a major music company. His first song with them was "Silence."

His second album, Remember to Remember Me, was released in April 2020. Isak shared that the album's title was a message to his listeners to join him on his personal journey. In songs like "Light Up," "Silence," and "Religion," he talked about his own experiences with anxiety. He wanted to send a message that no one should feel alone when dealing with anxiety. A music reviewer from Aftonbladet said that Isak's music is "so emotional and sad that it almost forgets to breathe" and that "he sings well beyond his age."

Isak continued to release new music. In March 2021, he released Tomorrow Never Came. He also released a live EP, Live in Stockholm, in July 2021.
