Isak Ocke Danielson, born on August 27, 1997, is a talented singer and songwriter from Sweden. He is well-known for his popular song "Always." His albums Yours (released in 2018) and Remember to Remember Me (released in 2020) are also very popular.

Early Life and Training

Isak Danielson grew up in Hovås, a town south of Gothenburg, Sweden. He has two older sisters. His father, Måns Danielson, helped start an online food company called Mat.

From 2008 to 2010, Isak and his family lived in London. During this time, he went to Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. There, he learned about theater and singing. Isak shared that this experience helped him learn to sing in a classical way and use his diaphragm, which made his voice much stronger.

Music Career

Starting with The X Factor

Isak Danielson first became known in 2012. He tried out for The X Factor Sweden and did very well. He ended up finishing in third place in the competition.

Early Songs and EPs

In December 2013, Isak put his first song, "Long Live This Love," on YouTube. It was officially released in January 2014.

In 2015, he released "Falling Into You." This song was the first from his first EP (Extended Play) called Volume One. An EP is like a mini-album with fewer songs. Critics said Volume One showed off Isak's amazing voice with a mix of emotional songs and acoustic pop.

His second EP, Volume Two, came out in October 2016. Before that, he released the song "Remember" in September.

In 2017, Isak's song "Ending" became very popular. It was used in a dance video by Maddie Ziegler. Later that year, the song was also featured on the TV shows So You Think You Can Dance and Cloak & Dagger. These TV appearances helped his music reach many more listeners around the world.

First Albums: Yours and Remember to Remember Me

In April 2018, Isak released "Broken." This song was the first single from his first full album. He said the song was inspired by a friend who had gone through a very difficult time.

Later in 2018, he released more songs like "Always," "I'll Be Waiting," and "I'm Falling in Love." His first studio album, Yours, was released on October 19, 2018. The album reached number 27 on the music charts in Sweden.

In 2019, Isak released "Power" and "Bleed Out." These songs were part of his third EP, Run to You, which came out in March 2019.

After signing with Universal Music Group, Isak released "Silence" in September 2019.

His second studio album, Remember to Remember Me, was released in April 2020. The album's title is a message to listeners to join him on his personal journey. In songs like "Light Up," "Silence," and "Religion," Isak talks about his own experiences with anxiety. He wants everyone to know they are not alone if they struggle with similar feelings.
