Isallavi (also known as Isayavi or Isallawi) is a small village located in the country of Bolivia. It is part of the Oruro Department. This village is famous for being the birthplace of Evo Morales, who was once the President of Bolivia.
Where is Isallavi Located?
Isallavi is a very small village. In 2012, only 33 people lived there. It is found in the Orinoca Canton, which is a part of the Andamarca Municipality. This municipality is in the Sud Carangas Province of Bolivia.
The village sits very high up, at 3,783 meters (about 12,411 feet) above sea level. This is higher than many mountains! It is also located about 15 kilometers (about 9 miles) west of a large body of water called Poopó Lake.

Evo Morales is a very important person in Bolivian history. He was the President of Bolivia from 2006 to 2019. He was the first president of Bolivia to come from the country's indigenous (native) population.
