Oruro has many interesting natural and historical sites:
- Sajama National Park: A beautiful park with amazing landscapes.
- Parinacota Volcano: A tall, impressive volcano.
- Sajama Lines: Mysterious ancient lines drawn on the ground.
- Poopó Lake: A large lake, though its size can change.
- Lake Uru Uru: Another important lake in the region.
- Paria: This was the very first Spanish settlement in Bolivia. It was also an important city for the Inca Empire long ago.
