Isili, also called Ìsili in the local Sardinian language, is a comune (which means a municipality or town) located in southern Sardinia, Italy. It's about 60 kilometers (37 miles) north of Cagliari, a big city on the island. Isili is found in a traditional area known as Sarcidano.
Isili shares its borders with several other towns. These include Gergei, Gesturi, Laconi, Nuragus, Nurallao, Nurri, Serri, and Villanova Tulo.

What is a Nuraghe?
A Nuraghe is a special type of ancient stone building. These unique structures were built by the Nuragic civilization in Sardinia. They are found only on the island of Sardinia. Nuraghes were built thousands of years ago, during the Bronze Age. They often look like large stone towers.
