Isla is a charming small village located in Cantabria, a beautiful region in northern Spain. It's part of the larger area called Arnuero, which also includes places like Soane and Castillo Siete Villas. Isla is known for its lovely coastal views and is a popular spot for visitors.
Where is Isla?
Isla is found in the northern part of Cantabria. To its north, you'll find the vast Bay of Biscay, which is part of the Atlantic Ocean. To the east, there's the Rio Campiazo river and the town of Joyel Noja.
To the west, you'll see an estuary and the town of Ajo. South of Isla are Mount Cinch and the main town of Arnuero. Isla is quite close to Arnuero, only about 2.4 kilometers away. It sits about 25 meters above sea level.
