Isobel Victoria Steele (born on December 28, 2000) is an English actress and singer. She is best known for playing Liv Flaherty in the TV show Emmerdale. This show is a long-running drama, also called a soap opera, on ITV.
Isobel played Liv from February 2016 to October 2022. For her role, she won several awards. These included the Best Young Actor award at the British Soap Awards and the Inside Soap Awards. She was also nominated for the British Soap Award for Best Newcomer in 2016.

Isobel Steele's Acting Career
Isobel started acting in commercials when she was young. Between 2008 and 2010, she appeared in ads for different companies.
In 2013, she played Nicky in a show called Lost for BBC Learning. The next year, in 2014, Isobel was Barbara in Our Zoo. She also acted as Chloe in a short film titled A Father's Day.
Isobel appeared in an episode of The Dumping Ground in 2016. She played a character named Kara in the episode "Getting to Know You."
Joining Emmerdale
In 2016, Isobel got a big role in Emmerdale. She was cast as Liv Flaherty, who was the half-sister of Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller).
In 2017, Isobel took a short break from the show. This was so she could focus on her GCSE exams, which are important school tests in the UK.
Isobel's Music Journey
While acting, Isobel also started sharing her musical talent. In 2017, she began posting her own songs and cover songs on her YouTube channel.
In November 2019, Isobel released her first music collection. It was an extended play (EP) called Sounds from the Lounge. An EP is like a mini-album with a few songs.
In October 2022, Isobel decided to leave Emmerdale. She wanted to spend more time on her music career. In April 2023, she released a new song called "Out for Breakfast."
