Isokyrö is a small town, also called a municipality, in Finland. It is located in the South Ostrobothnia region. Isokyrö is about 43 kilometers (27 miles) away from the city of Vaasa.
As of 31 December 2023, about 4,357 people live here. The total area of Isokyrö is 356.91 square kilometres (137.80 sq mi). A small part of this area, 2.79 km2 (1.08 sq mi), is water. The population density is how many people live in each square kilometer.
The name "Isokyrö" has a special meaning. "Iso" means "big" in Finnish. "Kyrö" comes from an old dialect and means a "quarry" or a "rocky place" where people might hide. Most people in Isokyrö speak only Finnish.
Isokyrö is known for having many cars! According to Traficom, a Finnish agency, Isokyrö has 718 cars for every thousand people. This makes it the most motorized municipality in Finland.

Isokyrö is in a region called South Ostrobothnia. It has a lot of farmland, with about 13,000 hectares (32,000 acres) of fields where crops are grown.
