South Ostrobothnia (which is Etelä-Pohjanmaa in Finnish and Södra Österbotten in Swedish) is one of the 19 main areas, called regions, in Finland. It shares borders with other regions like Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia, Central Finland, Pirkanmaa, and Satakunta.
Seinäjoki is the most important city in this region. It is also the largest city by far.

Culture and Events
South Ostrobothnia is known for a few cool things! For example, the famous stunt group The Dudesons are from here. Also, the traditional Finnish sweater called a Jussishirt is a special item from this region.
If you like music, you might know about Provinssirock. It is one of the biggest rock festivals in Finland. The world's oldest tango festival, called Tangomarkkinat, also takes place here. Both of these big events happen in Seinäjoki.
