Järna, also known as Dala-Järna, is a charming small town in Sweden. It is located in the beautiful Dalarna County, within the Vansbro Municipality. People sometimes call it Dala-Järna to make sure it's not confused with another town named Järna, which is near Södertälje Municipality. In 2010, about 1,413 people lived here.
Järna is special because it was the home of Gudmunds Nils Larsson. He was the very last person to play the traditional Swedish bagpipes in the old, authentic way. He passed away in 1949, but his amazing musical talent is still remembered today!
