Thomas Joseph McCleskey Jr., known as J. J. McCleskey, was born on April 10, 1970. He is a former American football player. He played as a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL). Today, he is a coach for the Tulane Green Wave football team. He coaches the defensive backs.

J. J. McCleskey's Football Journey

J. J. McCleskey played college football at the University of Tennessee. He was a player for the Tennessee Volunteers. After college, he joined the NFL.

Playing in the NFL

McCleskey played for two NFL teams. He was with the New Orleans Saints from 1993 to 1996. Later, he played for the Arizona Cardinals from 1996 to 2000. He played as both a wide receiver and a defensive back.

Coaching Career
