Jabin Sambrano, born on March 13, 1990, is a former American football player. He played as a wide receiver, a position where players catch passes from the quarterback. Sambrano played college football at the University of Montana. After college, he joined the Indianapolis Colts in 2012 as an undrafted rookie free agent. This means he wasn't chosen in the main NFL Draft but was still signed by a team.
Early Life and College Football
Jabin Sambrano grew up in Temecula, California. He attended Great Oak High School before going to college. At the University of Montana, he played for the Montana Grizzlies football team. During his time there, he showed great skill. In 2011, he was recognized as a Second-team All-Big Sky player. This award highlights his strong performance in the Big Sky Conference.
Professional Football Career
Sambrano began his professional career in 2012. He first signed with the Indianapolis Colts. Later that year, he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2013, he returned to the Colts briefly. He then moved to the Jacksonville Jaguars, first on their practice squad and later on the main team.
After playing in the NFL, Sambrano also played in the Arena Football League (AFL). In 2015, he was assigned to the Los Angeles KISS. He was later traded to the Spokane Shock in the same year. In 2015, he also joined the Portland Thunder, which later became the Portland Steel in 2016.
