Jack Thomas Brinkley (December 22, 1930 – January 23, 2019) was an American politician, teacher, and lawyer. He was a member of the Democratic Party. He represented the 3rd district of Georgia in the United States House of Representatives.

Early Life and Education
Jack Brinkley was born in Faceville, Georgia. He finished his studies at Young Harris College in 1949. After college, he worked as a school teacher for several years.
Military Service
From 1951 to 1956, Brinkley served in the United States Air Force. He was a pilot during his time in the military.
Becoming a Lawyer
After his military service, Brinkley went to law school. He studied at the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens. He earned his law degree in 1959. After that, he became a lawyer in Columbus, Georgia.

Jack Brinkley had a long career in politics. He served in both state and national government.
Georgia House of Representatives
His political journey began in the Georgia House of Representatives. He served one term there, from 1965 to 1966.
