Jackfish Lake is a big, shallow lake in the middle of Saskatchewan, Canada. It's about 30 miles (48 km) south of a village called Edam, right near Saskatchewan Highway 26. Many communities are located on or close to the lake's shore. These include Meota, Metinota, Cochin, and Aquadeo. The closest airport is in North Battleford.

Battlefords Provincial Park offers a lot to do. You can find three different campgrounds there. These campgrounds have over 300 spots for tents or RVs. There are also several hiking trails for you to explore. These trails let you see the beautiful nature around the lake.

The lake covers a very large area. Even though it's big, it's not very deep. On average, the water is about 8 feet (2.4 meters) deep. At its deepest point, Jackfish Lake reaches about 20 feet (6.1 meters).
