Jacobabad District (Urdu: ضلع جیکب آباد) is a special area in the Sindh province of Pakistan. Think of a district like a large county or region within a state. In 1998, about 1,425,572 people lived here. A little less than a quarter of these people (24.10%) lived in cities. The main city and capital of this district is called Jacobabad.
