Jamie Cudmore (born September 6, 1978) is a Canadian former professional rugby union player. He played as a lock and also as a flanker. A lock is a player who helps win the ball in line-outs and scrums, while a flanker is a fast player who helps defend and attack. Jamie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He started his rugby journey with Capilano RFC in British Columbia. Later, he played professionally in Wales for Llanelli and Llandovery. He also played in France for Grenoble, Clermont, and Oyonnax. His teammates often called him "Cuddles."

Playing for Canada and Club Teams
Jamie Cudmore first played for the Canadian national rugby team in 2002. This match was against the United States. He represented Canada in four different Rugby World Cup tournaments. These were in 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2015.
Winning the Top 14 Championship
On May 29, 2010, Jamie's team, ASM Clermont Auvergne, won a big championship. They won the Top 14 Championship in France. They beat USA Perpignan with a score of 19–6. This exciting game took place at the Stade de France. This victory was very special because it was the first time Clermont had won a French national title in their club's history.
Retirement from Rugby
