In 1717, Jane married Christopher Bullock. He was also an actor and managed a theatre called the Lincoln's Inn Fields Theatre.
Jane and Christopher had three children together. Sadly, Christopher passed away in 1722 from a sickness called consumption.
A Popular Actress
Even after her husband died, Jane continued to be a very popular actress. She kept performing at the Lincoln's Inn Fields Theatre.
In 1732, Jane and the other actors moved to a brand new theatre. This new theatre was the famous Covent Garden Theatre.
Later Years and Legacy
As Jane's acting career started to slow down, she received special "benefit performances." These shows were held to help support her financially.
One benefit show was at Covent Garden in 1736. Another was in Dublin, Ireland, at the Smock Alley Theatre in 1737.
Jane Rogers passed away in Ireland two years later, in 1739. She was buried in a place called Glasnevin. She is remembered as an important actress from her time.
