Janee' Kassanavoid (born January 19, 1995) is an American track and field athlete. She is best known for throwing the hammer throw. Janee' has won medals at the World Athletics Championships, making her one of the top hammer throwers in the world.

Professional Career Highlights

Janee' Kassanavoid has achieved great success in her professional career. She set her personal best throw of 78.00 meters (about 255 feet, 11 inches) on April 30, 2022. This is a very long distance for a hammer throw!

World Championships Medals

Janee' has won two important medals at the World Athletics Championships. In 2022, she earned a bronze medal at the championships held in Eugene, Oregon. Her throw was 74.86 meters (about 245 feet, 7 inches). This was a special moment because she became the first Native American woman to win a medal at the World Athletics Championships. Janee' is a member of the Comanche Nation.
