Jarlinson Pantano Gómez (born 19 November 1988) is a professional racing cyclist from Colombia. He rode for several professional teams between 2012 and 2019. After a period of suspension due to a rule violation involving a banned substance, he returned to cycling at an amateur level.

Cycling Career Highlights
Jarlinson Pantano started his professional cycling journey in 2012. He quickly became known for his skills, especially in mountain stages.
Early Professional Years
Pantano competed in the 2014 Giro d'Italia, which is one of the biggest cycling races in the world. In 2015, he joined the IAM Cycling team. That same year, he raced in his first Tour de France, finishing in 19th place overall.
Winning a Tour de France Stage
A major moment in Pantano's career was in the 2016 Tour de France. He won Stage 15, which was a tough mountain stage. This victory showed his strength as a climber. After this success, he was chosen to represent Colombia in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics for the individual road race.
Joining Trek-Segafredo
In 2016, Pantano signed a contract with the Trek-Segafredo team. He continued to race with them for several seasons, extending his contract in 2018.
Suspension and Return to Cycling
In April 2019, Jarlinson Pantano was suspended from his team. This happened after a test showed a banned substance in his system. The UCI, which is the main governing body for cycling, provisionally suspended him from the sport. In June 2019, he announced his retirement from professional racing.
In May 2020, the UCI confirmed a four-year ban for Pantano. This ban meant he could not compete until April 2023. After his ban ended, Pantano returned to cycling. He joined a Colombian amateur team called EPM in 2023.
