Javianne Oliver (born December 26, 1994) is a super fast American runner who competes in track and field. She is known as a sprinter, which means she runs very short, fast races like the 60 meters and 100 meters. Javianne has won many important races and even competed in the Olympics!

Javianne Oliver: A Fast Sprinter

Javianne Oliver was born on December 26, 1994. She grew up to become one of the fastest sprinters in the United States. She specializes in short-distance running events.

Early Career and College Success

Javianne went to the University of Kentucky for college. There, she was part of the Kentucky Wildcats track and field team. She showed her amazing speed early on.

  • In 2017, she finished second in the 60 meters race. This was at the 2017 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships. This was a big achievement for her college career.

Becoming a Professional Athlete

After college, Javianne continued to shine. In 2018, she won the 60 meters race at the 2018 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships. This win was very important because it qualified her for the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships. Her time of 7.02 seconds was the fastest in the world that season!

Because of her success, Javianne signed a contract with Nike, Inc in 2018. This meant she officially became a professional athlete.

  • In 2020, she placed second at the 2020 USA Track & Field Indoor Championships. This helped her qualify for another World Championships.
  • She also won the 2020 US Olympic Trials. This was a huge step towards her Olympic dream.

Javianne has represented the United States in many big competitions around the world.

Winning Medals

  • 2021 Olympics: Javianne competed in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. She ran in the 100 meters race. She also helped her team win a silver medal in the 4x100 meters relay race! This was a very exciting moment for her and her country.
  • 2022 NACAC Championships: She won a gold medal in the 4x100 meters relay at the 2022 NACAC Championships in Freeport, Bahamas.

Javianne continues to train hard and compete in races. She is a great example of dedication and speed in track and field.
