Jaya Prakash Reddy (born May 8, 1946 – died September 8, 2020) was a famous Indian actor. He mostly acted in Telugu films, which are made in the Telugu language in India. He was born in Sirvel in Andhra Pradesh.
He became very well-known after his role as Veera Raghava Reddy in the film Samarasimha Reddy (1999). He often played the bad guy, also known as an antagonist, in many movies. Later in his career, he also made people laugh with his funny roles. He passed away at his home in Guntur on September 8, 2020, at 74 years old, due to a heart attack. He received a special award called the Special Jury Award (Alexander) for his great work in Tollywood.
